Chakra Meditation

Spirit Guide Meditation Versus Chakra Meditation

We all have spirit guides who are there to help us along our life path. Did your mom tell you that you had a guardian angel when you were a kid? She was right. And, we can connect with them through spirit guide meditation. Get into the habit of asking your guide directly for help. The best way to do so is through meditation. Also, be specific and concentrate on positive outcomes (you don't want to invite the negative guys over for dinner). Spirits are like people, some are good, and some are less so. The thing to remember is that you have the power to invite them in, or not.

Make a list of the outcomes that you want to happen and ask. Then listen by using meditation to slow down and quiet that inner dialogue. After meditating, you want to write an invitation and thank your guide for helping you. The best way to start a meditation practice to contact your guide is with assistance from an experienced psychic who can show you the right way to call them. If you do it on your own, make it a daily practice and concentrate on love and light.

Another way to envision your path is through chakra meditation. Guided chakra meditation helps lead you through the process. Chakra is the Sanskrit word for disc or wheel. This wheel of energy moves throughout our entire body with seven primary chakras that are energy networks connecting your body, mind, and spirit. Starting at the base is your (red) root chakra, which sits at the base of your spine. The (orange) sacral chakra is just below your belly button, and the (yellow) solar plexus chakra is just above it. Next comes the (green) heart chakra and then the (blue) throat chakra. And finally, the (indigo) third eye chakra which lies between your eyebrows and the (white or purple) crown chakra at the top of your head. These primary energy networks connect to many more throughout your body.

If you envision the chakras as a wheel, you can see that they all affect one another. To that end, if one is out of balance, it throws the whole network off. There are several approaches to regain balance, and they all involve chakra meditation. The chakra balancing meditation opens and clears the chakras. The idea is to release any negative energy that's throwing things out of balance.
